Germany is the 2nd largest software market in the world. The German speaking markets (DACH[1]) accounts for more than 25% of all software purchases in the EU. A total of € 15.200.000.000 is expected to be spent on software and related services in 2011 and the market growth is on the positive side of 4%. A population of 100 million and a business environment with over 4 million companies generates this demand.

Mr. Volkmer has a background as sales director and country manager from companies such as IBM, CA Technology, BMS Software and Symantec.
