Reino Malm joins TBK Consult Finland and strengthens the support for international business development in the Finnish software industry.
With more than 1.000 software companies Finland is an innovation furnace. The innovation environment is supported by the leading industries such as telecommunication, manufacturing and forestry. The Finnish economy is very open with more than one third of GNP originating from exports.
Finland had been performing well recently as its banks and financial markets avoided the worst of the global financial crisis. However, the world slowdown hit exports and domestic demand hard in 2009, with Finland experiencing one of the deepest contractions in the euro zone. A recovery of exports, domestic trade, and household consumption stimulated economic growth in 2010.

Reino Malm has a sales background from Digital Equipment Corporation and Xerox. He has more than 25 years of experience as a business development consultant in the ICT industry. He has worked as a consultant in Sweden, UK and Italy in addition to the activities in Finland. During the past ten years Reino Malm has facilitated development projects with 20 ICT organizations which have varied from global corporation’s local subsidiary to small SME’s. These projects have included strategy development and execution planning, business model transformation, mergers and core business process development. Reino Malm has a strong experience also from the “soft side” of organization development in the areas like leadership and team development and customer service and sales development.
