Erich Glanz (59) joins TBK Consult Austria and strengthens the support for international business development in Austria, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Austria is in itself an important market representing almost 3% of EU demand for ITC related products and services.  Austria is also a member of the so-called DACH family encompassing a population of 100 million German-speaking people, by far the strongest market in Europe.  Despite the disappearance of the “Iron Curtain” in 1989 Austria has maintained its position as the “Port to Eastern Europe” and belongs to the fast growing marketplaces in Europe.

Erich Glanz is a serial entrepreneur with comprehensive executive management and business development experience.  After running his own company for 7 years Erich Glanz teamed up with the Danish ERP Company Columbus IT Partner in 1996. Erich Glanz was the first Austrian who introduced Concorde XAL in the German speaking markets. After 10 years leading Columbus IT Partner Austria as CEO, Glanz moved on to develop the Columbus business in the Middle East. Since 2010 Erich Glanz is working as a management consultant providing support for software companies to get access into new marketplaces in Austria, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
